Zombieland (2009)[]
Following the zombie apocalypse breaking out, Tallahassee had become one of the best ass-kickers in the zombie killing business. He drives down the road in a modified black Cadillac SUV, where he meets up with Columbus, who he decides to take with him on his journey. While on the way however, Tal finds himself a Hostess truck, which makes him crave a twinkie, so both men go to investigate. Tal is displeased when all he finds in the back of the truck are snowballs and vows to find himself one. They then make a pit stop for Columbus before making their way to a grocery store and Tal takes up several tools as weapons to take out the zombies inhabiting the store. Once the zombies have been dealt with, they meet up with Wichita and her little sister, Little Rock, who they believe to be bitten, only to find out they were scammed out of their weapons and vehicle.
Now on foot, both Tal and Columbus share stories about zombie kills they witnessed before Tal takes out his anger and frustration out on a nearby minivan. They then come across a yellow Hummer, which is not only vacant, but is loaded with a bag of serious firepower in the back. After modifying the truck to his liking and squeezing off some rounds in the MP7 he acquires, Tal and Columbus make their way onto the road, where he reveals that he lost his "puppy" Buck on the way and that he's looking for a new home. They then come across his black Cadillac from before and he goes alone to investigate. He signals Columbus to drive up, however after getting inside, Little Rock holds him at gunpoint, demanding he surrender his weapon. It's then Wichita enters the vehicle and drives, this time, taking the men along with them. Tal is able to easily take back his Mare's Leg from Little Rock before Wichita stops the truck and points her handgun at him and vice versa. Columbus then talks both parties down and Tal acts more mature and puts his gun away, leading Wichita to do the same. While on the way, Tal gets restless and they stop at a nearby gift shop, where they take out nearby zombies and not long after browsing, begin having a good time, destroying the interior of the store.
They then continue on their way, where Tal recommends they go to an A-List actor's mansion, with Bill Murray in mind. They arrive and make themselves at home, where Wichita goes with Tal and the other 2 find themselves in Bill's home theater. Tal falls on the ground, following being hit in the head by a golf ball by Wichita. Bill comes in, disguised as a zombie and while he gets closer to Tal, Wichita comes up from behind and whacks Bill with his putter, revealing he's human. They learn he uses this method to blend in and survive before he offers them some hospitality as well. All three get high and re-enact parts from Ghostbusters before trying to scare Columbus. Bill enters the theater in his zombie guise, leading Columbus to shoot him, not knowing he was not a zombie at all. Bill dies from his injury and the crew have a funeral for him, which is then followed by a game of Monopoly. It's here however, that Tal reveals his "puppy" he lost was in fact his young son, showing the others the duct tape wallet they made, leading him to shed tears. Next morning, Wichita and Little Rock continue to their destination to Pacific Playland, then Tal plans to go down to Mexico, however he changes his plans when he sees Columbus fall off one of Bill's bikes and offers him a ride.
Upon their arrival at Pacific Playland, they find it infested with zombies, leading them to believe the girls actually need their assistance this time. Driving into the park, Tal takes out several zombies from the car before stopping and finding the Hummer submerged, believing the girls dead. It's then both Wichita and Little Rock yell out from a nearby ride, revealing they're okay for the moment, but zombies are trying to get them. Tal then takes up all the remaining weapons and an air horn to get the attention of the horde, leading them away from Columbus and the girls. He then begins taking them out on the rides before making a final stand at a nearby stand with dual pistols and achieving victory over them. As he watches Columbus finally get his girl, he then notices that the pack sold twinkies and goes on the hunt for one. Columbus then meets up with Tal, however accidentally blows a hole in a box with his shotgun, displeasing Tal. They then hear the SUV they arrived in move outside, which stopped when they got out. Little Rock then tosses Tal a twinkie she obtained prior and he enjoys it while going into the car. It's also here that he found his new family, as well as taking out a zombie comically with the door of the car.
Zombieland: Series[]
Zombieland: Double-Tap[]
6 years following the apocalypse, Tal has remained with Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock, and have taken up residents in the now-abandoned White House, where they remain for some time before Wichita and Little Rock leave. This was due to Tal acting like an overbearing father figure to Little Rock and Columbus proposing to Wichita prior to their departure. Following a month after the girls departed, Columbus and Tal are in a nearby shopping mall, where they take on a zombie, as well as meeting with Madison and is easily aggravated by her stupidity. Not long after, Wichita returns and tells both Columbus and Tal that Little Rock met a pacifist name Berkeley and has gone off with him to Graceland. They decide to go with her to find Little Rock, leading to Tal being angered by driving in a minivan for most of the trip. They attempt to switch to an RV and succeed following battling an incoming horde of zombies, also introducing them to the T-800. They board the RV, only for the tires to blow, leading them to return to the van. They eventually lose Madison to what they believe to be a zombie infection and continue on their way. Once at Graceland, they find it to be in total ruins, but find the Hound Dog motel, where they meet with Nevada.
Both Tal and Nevada find themselves getting to know one another and eventually, having sex. The next morning, Tal is wearing Elvis' costume, however it also brings him into contact with Albuquerque and Flagstaff, who crush the Beast with a monster truck. They then begin arguing over the driveway, leading Nevada to deny them both the driveway if they don't behave themselves. Not long after their arrival, they find that several T-800s had followed the recent arrivals, leading them to go out and deal with them. Once dealt with, Albuquerque and Flagstaff come back in, only to turn from bites they received from the zombies. Tallahassee deals with a zombified Albuquerque while Columbus deals with a zombified Flagstaff, eventually dealing with both. They continue on their journey, where they meet back up with Madison to Tal's displeasure and it's revealed she had suffered from a nut allergy. Once at Babylon, Tal tosses a grenade into the van, blowing it up and is forced to melt down his weapons for Little Rock's sake. Once inside, they meet up with Little Rock, leading to Tal going off on his own, much to Madison's displeasure. Unarmed and on the road again in an old pickup truck, Tal collides with a T-800 and finds it's not alone, as a horde is heading to Babylon. With little choice, Tal returns to Babylon, warning them about the incoming threat, leading them to formulate a plan of defense, despite being unarmed. They use biodiesel and open up a hole in the wall to trap the incoming zombies, and set it ablaze before it explodes. Once several T-800s are dealt with, they plan to take on the stragglers, only to find there are much more than they anticipated.
Believing this to be the end of the line, Tal and the crew believe they're about to die and say their goodbyes, that is until Nevada arrives in the same monster truck from before and rescues the crew from a nearby tower. They enter the truck and Nevada uses it to crush multiple zombies before it capsizes and they are forced to abandon it. Leaving for the building, they find themselves encountering several zombies, however Berkeley and Madison from above give them assistance by dropping items off the building, killing several zombies and allowing them to ascend. Tal is able to slow down the incoming horde before running to the top and luring them into the "Zombie Kill of the Century", which was the Great Zombie Jump, honoring is Blackfoot ancestors. Rather than dying, Tal jumps and grabs onto a nearby crane hook and swings from it until 2 T-800s grab his foot, but the one holding on is shot by Little Rock, who kept the gun she obtained from the White House prior to her departure. Nevada and Tal then form a relationship and decide to party, as well as acknowledging the engagement of Columbus and Wichita before leaving in Elvis' Cadillac with the crew.
