I've been doing a little work so that editors can call attention to certain things using those nice colored textbox templates.
Here is all the templates in the wiki. You'll notice that most of them are garbage, and I've deleted plenty already.

Here are the templates I've worked on that I suggest editors get some practice with. Please do not change the Template Pages themselves. When you want to add it to a page, simply click the Insert Template button, and begin to type in first few letters - it will autofill (though it is case sensitive).

Use this when you want to say something very general, or miscellaneous. If you look at the editing page for it, you'll see guidelines for which colors to use for which situation. It is basicall the same one I use all over the place, though that one is named POV_Distort.
For all the pages that are named for a date and place of a Recorded Attack in the ole' ZSG.

Speaking of which, this one should be used when the subject draws from info unique to the ZSG, as in Solanum. Do not use it for more general pages, like Weapons or Vehicles.
http://zombie.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Red
For when the sample pasted from Wikipedia needs to have the redlinks removed.
http://zombie.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Under_Cons
For when you start an article and intend to finish soon. And by soon, lets set the guideline at about a week after starting otherwise... please don't start it. Use the sandbox, or save it on your hard drive until it is ready to be completed. I suggest notepad.exe.... or docs.google.com.
http://zombie.wikia.com/wiki/Template:In-universe
For when we're treating something Max Brooks wrote as if it really happened. If any part of the article discusses the "real world" (such as speculating on why Brooks wrote it a certain way, or mentioning that Brooks's interpretation would be different in reality) then do not use this. For the Solanum page, it's good. For the difference between fast and slow zombies, it's inappropriate.
I think that's all of the important ones. Use them well. Let me know if you have any questions.
