Just a little question , is fan fictions (stories/characters/etc) allowed in this fandom ?
I recently saw an article listing the 10 best zombie shooter games of all time, and it got me wondering about whether there are any other great games being left off these types of lists. Stuff like Left 4 Dead 2 ends up topping most of them, but should another game be given that number one spot in your opinion?

imagine in the zombie survival guide universe, the south american civilization known as The Moche had a zombie outbreak and it was the reason they started building fortresses before they ultimately dissappeared.
Hey at owner or who ever owns the Zombiepedia i own an Inderpendent book series known as Infected which is on Smashwords. The reson i haven;t started editing is i saw on the homepage that there is fact and fiction but I didn;t want to start creating pages and then get them deleted.
I had this problom before when i made a fanfiction book series on another wikia and then each page ethier got deleted or edited back to the old version. So if an admin or someone could get back to me I would be very happy thanks Killerk7
I am writing a book that's post zombie apocalypse (not the biggest issue in the story) But I want to be almost as accurate as possible. In the case of an outbreak how would it have affected the animals in the world. Does the virus turn them into zombies the usual way a human would? Are they immune? If so how? What makes the difference between humans and animals in a zombie virus outbreak?
My weapon of choice would be an AR-15 rifle because they are accurate, reliable and the ammo for them is commonly used.

I am trying to write a book on a girl who tries to survive the apocalyspe? Can I have feedback, tips, or something like that?
Hi. I don't know is this is an appropriate place to ask or if anyone can help but I figure it is worrth a shot. So, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out and give me a possible, hypothetical run through of how society may break down in the event of zombies? And how fast might it all spread?
At the minute I am completely playing with ideas; researching stuff for a potential novel. The current idea behind this specific zombifiation process is that it is some sort of fungi that lies dormant in the brain until the host dies, when they come back to life as zombies.
Thanks for any help!
Me and my friend really want to make a zed virus for a novel we're making and we really need your ideas. Thanks!
That's the question.
I'll be frank. It's hard not to look at this place and notice the sub-par quality of about 90% of the articles, especially the ones relating to weapon systems, protective equipment, and anything relating to rationale and thought in the selection of such things.
This isn't about me, so I'll spare any kind of in-depth explanation of background that - again, being frank - most people wouldn't believe anyway. Suffice it to say that there are nerds everywhere and I like to do consultation for authors in my free time, hence me being here after having it pointed out in a forum a while back.
If you've got a question about anything relating to firearms, their employment, selection of a firearm for carry, what makes one useful in a given situation, what makes one not, how they're carried, their accessories, etc, so on, and so forth, hit the thread up, and I'll do my absolute best to give you an answer that'll teach you something, and hopefully leave you edified in a way that lets you write more clearly and in a better informed manner. After all, it's much easier to write about something (even when it's fictional!) if you have a functional knowledge of the basic, more mundane things surrounding the topic you're writing about.
So open fire.
As a Kiwi myself I am curious to know how our small and isolated nation did during WWZ. I remember that there was a mention of a Maori resistance that did quite well against the Auckland horde but other than that I know very little. Was there something that I missed in the books or is this all we know?
I'd imagine that Australia would get overrun quickly because of its proximity to the string of islands that runs down from asia which would make it a target for refugees. However NZ is quite a bit further away so while I can see some people trying to make the journey from eastern Aus we wouldn't see nearly as many as australia might. Provided that Auckland was overrun I'd say that the Waikato area would soon follow because of the lack of natural obsticals. Most of the north island and then the country would follow but i can see that there would be a few places where survivors could hold out. The islands off the coast of Auckland like Great Barrier is one such location as well as the more isolated towns in the south such as queenstown which has a natural barrier of mountain that would protect it. I could also see the possibility that wellington may also hold out because of the rugged terrain that surrounds it.
