My theory about 28 Weeks Later is when Don gets infected by his wife who is immune to the rage virus. Don slowly transforms into a zombie. Before he becomes a fully zombie, he angrily beats his wife, squeezes her eyes and bites her neck then beats her to death after that he would quickly leave the room then that is when he becomes a fully zombie and starts attacking everyone. Unlike other zombies, Don is a very intelligent zombie. As a zombie he is also able to recognise his son and daughter but still attacks them. This reminds me of Stephen King’s 1983 horror film “Cujo” where a dog named Cujo gets infected by rabies then attacks and kills his owner as well as everyone else. Don was probably aware that he himself is a zombie and I wonder why he decided to attack his son and daughter and everyone else. I think he is angry that he has the virus so he wanted everyone else to be infected too which is probably why he attacked, infected and killed everyone.
This is a very important thought, but has no one considered a zombie virus caused by a spider bite? There are spiders IRL that can cause necrosis of the body around the area of the bite and can lead to serious illness and even death, but only rarely. Has no one considered this before or just me???
Hear me out… A prison. So if these Zombies couldn’t be in the sun, you’re free to walk around in the day. But at night, a keeper of the keys could lock everyone up in a prison cell for their protection. In the morning, the keeper of the keys would unlock their cell and everyone else’s. Also, prisons are pretty fortified, are built for large numbers, have plenty of weapons, have a library (I think, never been to prison), has plenty of beds, a large cafeteria, kitchen, etc. It’s actually pretty perfect. Alcatraz would be even better, it’s on a island.
Also known by his Short Name "Zubblun", which it means Zombie Bubblun. He often has a Hunger for Flesh and Brains, but in Bubble Bobble Style.
I made a fandom wiki based on my creation of zombies and the virus that comes from them. Not much is done but pretty sure it gives a lot of information about the virus and the zombies. There is much to be done but feel free to comment or look at it if you want to.

I'm desigining "Shamblers" (zombies in my novel's universe) and I need some ideas/help for some. Would it be interesting if there was a zombie that can't be killed by normal means (the head, breaking their legs, fall damage, ect)??
We all love our zombie media. But There's one question that leers its ugly head, much like a Bloater. And that ugly, heartbreaking question is: Why are children not portrayed among most zombie media? While there is the occasional "one is control", such as Samantha Maxis (pre-BOCW), or the "sweet caring child turned cold-blooded survivalist", like Clementine. But why are these among the few we have? Why are children not portrayed in zombie media, as anything from normal children, to infected, to even just an element to make the story feel more real?
Feel free to answer in the comments.

Does this Wiki have a Discord server that I can join? I've been working on the weapons topics, but I feel a bit isolated from everyone else.
Good day. Please take a moment to review the first article I have created for this wonderful wiki.
I made this article inspired by the new HBO series, The Last of Us, based on the video game of the same name, which already has its own article on this wiki, in which the pathogen causing the zombie infection is not a virus, as is common in contemporary zombie fiction, but a fungus, Ophiocordyceps unilateralis. Because of its internal realism and closeness to the real fungus, I decided to explain the real pathogen.
I hope it pleases you.
Not long ago, I posted a topic about Animal Zombies being in Zombie Games, Films, and other forms of Popular Culture Media.
However, I recently remembered an old zombie comic series that I saw on YouTube (a video that recapped the season), as well as from the images I found on Google, and that Zombie Comic Series was called 'The Other Dead' (so called because it focused on animals being zombies instead of humans, and the fact that humans are immune to the virus). The publisher is IDW, and the writers are Joshua Ortega, Qing Ping Mui, Digger T. Mesch, Blond, Kevin Eastman, and Sam Shearon. The catchphrase of 'The Other Dead' was "Stronger Faster Deader", and a complete collection of the first season was released with a deer skull and a target sight circle.
'The Other Dead' had an interesting cast of characters, one of which was the 'Then US President' Barack Hussein Obama (I am not making this up, this is true), who were all caught up in a Zombie Animal Apocalypse which has yet to be expanded upon in a future series. The first comic sees a pair of hunters kill a deer, only for it to come back to life and attack the humans, but there is no scene to show the exact origin of the virus. Then there is a group of three cultists who murder a farmhouse full of geese to practice their macabre ways, but all of the geese come back to life as zombies, and the son of one of the group members notices that his goose egg for breakfast is rotten and infected but still there is no origin of the virus. As soon as one of the dead infected geese are tossed into the river, a crocodile eats it and then the virus spreads like wildfire across parts of america, and this is symbolised by the blood emerging from the kill sight. When armed police shoot dead an innocent and uninfected dog, they are swarmed by dozens of zombie dogs, and the dead dog comes back to life as a zombie dog to join in the zombie apocalypse outbreak effort. Soon, there are a large category of zombie animals that are encountered, including a zombie dugong that was washed up during a storm in an abandoned town. There is even a couple of snake zombies seen on tree branches, and a whole swarm of zombie bats bring down a helicopter full of the main characters, who find themselves in a zombie infested zoo. At the end of the first season of The Other Dead, a zombie seagull that is eating a dead human flies off across the open ocean, but a shark leaps out of the water and eats it, which echoes the crocodile eating the dead infected goose in the first issue of that season. As soon as the shark goes back into the water, the blood from the kill sight spreads, which symbolises the virus spreading across the entire oceans of the world, as well as teasing a 'Zombie Fish' theme for the second season of 'The Other Dead'.
So there you have it, 'The Other Dead' first season basic facts and synopsis.
Unfortunately, since there has been no 'The Other Dead' second season for a very long time, then the worst fear is that there is no more 'The Other Dead' seasons of comics to come. This is a very sad shame, since 'The Other Dead' was full of potential to be great, let alone stand on the shoulders with 'The Walking Dead'. To make matters worse, I have checked the official website of IDW Comics, and there is no sign of 'The Other Dead' to be seen anywhere. This fuels the fear of the series being discontinued, and since 'The Other Dead' is out of print, then I fear that there is no continuation for 'The Other Dead' at all.
If you have any questions, got to YouTube and Google to find out more info about 'The Other Dead'.
